The new Dredd movie was a not a bad film, but a remake was not really necessary. The whole thing was a cliche from every other action movie. The only part that blew my mind was the end when it showed the body slowly hitting the ground, that scene was well done and visually looked great.

Regardless, it was going to be a failure at the box office because the previous Dredd film is considered one of the worst films ever made.

While this script isn't anything groundbreaking, the Judge Dredd character itself, and the Megacity One mythos, has influenced tons of stuff that has come out since about 1980 and on.
This Dredd is solid for what it is. I actually cared if Dredd and Anderson made it out alive. There are some plot holes for sure, but Dredd is one of the better sci-fi movies I saw from last year. I actually liked it a lot more than Prometheus. Plus AVON BARKSDALE.

No, but Patrick Swayze would be in it. I'd have to use clips from Roadhouse, Dirty Dancing, Red Dawn, and that movie where he's in drag.

Felt like killing some time and went with Casino Royale.
still pretty GOAT level for a Bond flick, imo. Doesn't hurt having another GOAT in Eva Green be in it. Not at all.

Daniel Craig's portrayal of James Bond is truly fascinating, even one of my favorite Bond portrayals of all time. He's definitely up there with Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan.
