DREDD is the number one DVD in the world, nearly 700,000 DVD's and Blu Ray's sold in the first week!

A sequel may still be possible

God I hope they do another. That movie was awesomely entertaining. Karl Urban nailed it as DREDD!

To add to what SpookshowTony suggested, you must watch 'The Imposter'. It only came out last year and it is superb. Plus it's best to go into it blind, so try not to read up on it much.

Also: 'The Bridge' - About suicides on the Golden Gate Bridge. Yes it's a very dark subject matter but really moving film.

'The Devil & Daniel Johnston' - A small musician with serious inner demons. It's really emotional.

I also watched 'Craigslist Joe' the other night on Netflix. Basically this guy tries to live off Craigslist for a month. It's pretty fun.

Drive didn't fail at all. You know what did though? The New World. I'm just not a Malick fan, though I did like The Tree of Life. Too much mumbling, yelling, dramatic to the point where it's comical. The movie looks good and the score is fantastic, I'll give it that. There is some really bad editing in this one as well. The love story does work I guess, but I just didn't care. It wasn't compelling. It wasn't fascinating. It wasn't enthralling. I'm totally ok for movies to have loose narratives and have images drive the action and be slow builds, but this one just doesn't work at all.

Dear God please. Let it be a cult hit at least. Although nothing else has come out great this year yet. except..

End of Watch came out yesterday!
