That's a good point.

I always thought that Quentin's Gen-X dialogue would work much better for a tv show than a movie, since you can get away with having "meaningless dialogue scenes" on a tv show being that you generally need to throw in some filler to fill in time gaps.

I get why Pulp Fiction is regarded as a classic, it has the right balance of humor, action and suspense, the pacing is just right and the cultural styles he blended was something fresh at the time. Plus, you had an all star cast. Not a big fan of the disjointed narrative and mingled timeline, but that's just me.

Your English is just fine mate.
I don't mean better as in the actor who played it but the actual Peter character from each movie. Garfield really didn't act like Peter.

Hans Landa made Basterds better than it should have been. I thought overall it was a solid film that was carried by Waltz.

Probably shouldn't put so much weight into hype. I never pay attention to it, just eagerly await for the movie to come out.

I kinda agree with this. Tobey has that underdog quality about him in all his pictures. Garfield does a little, but not as much. He is much better as Spidey though.

Switch the films and it still works. A Jew returning to the camps to rescue his wife, and a group of slaves led by a white man killing off slave owners.

I saw it, can't find my post/review of it though.

It's a lot of fun. Not like a tremendous quality movie, but some decent action, decent acting, cool atmosphere of the gangster days. I compared it to a a graphic novel (a noir one). I would see it; it's a guilty pleasure.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Doesn't seem whole new thread worthy, but here's a link to McBain: The Full Movie, where McBain's clips from The Simpsons are edited together to make a whole film (only 4 minutes), with about as much plot and character development as your average Arnie shoot-em-up:
