The first one is a load of hype over nothing, but an interesting enough premise. I do not recommend wasting your time on the second one though, as it's just a sick fest. You see everything and there's no real point to any of it. The most pointless fucking film ever made. It's just plain rubbish.

So the sequel was made just to be grotesque? I'll possibly think of a watch just to laugh and enjoy a sick moment or two. Then again - the last time I had that mindset walking into a film I watched Martyrs. Hated that crap. But, there wasn't even a payoff with gore. I know THC II would have that.

Exactly. There's no plot or character development, that kind of thing. Just a fat weirdo who sees the first film and tries to replicate it. There's no art to it whatsoever.

If you've seen Antichrist, then that's a gross-out film with art to it. THC2 is just a worthless piece of junk as far as film-making goes. If you love sick fests then check it out, but don't expect to enjoy yourself.

Reading the synopsis and stumbled over this after reading who his victims are: "two drunk girls who catch Martin masturbating with sandpaper"

I eventually read about something to the extent of wrapping his penis in barbed wire and then fucking a dame.

Yep, plus a scene where a pregnant woman gives birth while driving a car, it pops out to the floor where its head gets crushed by the accelerator pedal.

Plus you see see all the mouth to anus connections, which are done with a staple gun and gaffer tape.
