Re: General Movie Discussion Part II
I guess so, virus.
Anyone interested can give their answer. When you go out and buy movies, do you know what you're getting or do you look until something catches your eye?
I only go out to buy two types of movies:
a.) new and I was waiting (Star trek, Avengers, DREDD )
b.) at a used store I just browse to see older movies with young actors I now like a lot.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II
I don't like to buy new movies due to prices plus I like to but bundles. I did buy a new movie once and it was a week after it came out, Black Christmas (2006). I just wait a month or two for the price to go down.
My mind becomes a huge clusterfuck of thoughts when I'm buying movies. I find myself picking up movies and setting them back down. Don't know why I do that. Even a list I write out becomes useless because I usually go to the horror section for safety. Twice I picked up Escape to New York and twice I set it back down. insertfuckmeface
Edit: should have quoted. This is replying to Skyfall

I watch all movies on downloads these days and if I like them I buy them basically. For some reason I absolutely love having dvd's. I stopped buying films I'd not seen before a while ago because I got sick of having them and them not being that good and having to get rid of them. I'll buy a movie I haven't seen if I'm REALLY interested in it and it's not available to download or something.
Sadly i don't own too much original ones. Collections are very expensive or there isn't releases from filmmakers i being interested in (for example Straub or Franju). Even then i pass to DVD everything i own so today i have a collection of 2000 movies. In this way you can rewatch when you want
