My Saturday would of been rather boring if it wasn't for you.

Edit - The Hobbit and Lincoln screeners leaked as well.

Watched The Raid last night and holy shit that movie was insane. Really intense fight scenes that would drive Hollywood quick cutting and shaky camera work to suicide.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Watched Killing Them Softly and thought it was great. It's moody and gritty and pretty tense in places. Pitt is a fucking BOSS in it. Whether you care for the underlying themes about 'MERICUH and the economy or not, it's still a great little crime/gangster movie. Editing and visuals are pretty great too, so is the soundtrack. Really underrated by most people imo.

Oh there are political undertones or even political overtness? I'm out.

Oh, being normal is vastly overrated.

Finally saw Django the other day. Awesome movie, Quentin with yet another great film. Also saw Lincoln (Day-Lewis is a god) and The Hobbit, which was really fun and even better than I thought it would be.

Visually the best film I've ever seen.
The Holy Mountain and El Topo are essential viewing.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

I hope that the screeners for The Master and Silver Linings Playbook also get leaked. Neither movie is in any theaters that are close to me and I don't feel like waiting for the DVD because I really want to see both movies.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

What's gay about WAR HORSE? It doesn't have Tom Cruise and isn't Titanic.

But yeah I watched it with a chick. No fucking way do I watch it of my own volition.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

I hope you ended the viewing experience with the cheesy line. "okay now its time for you to ride my War Horse."

Movie looked lame. will not watch unless I get laid afterwords.
