I remember watching that at a friend's house. His flat-mate's girlfriend put the DVD on and only three of us were left after it had ended. The boyfriend didn't care to see it and my friend decided he had had enough. I thought it was brilliant, with some catchy songs to go with it. Also didn't know Anthony Head could sing so well...
Much of the same when it comes to my friends that I've showed it to. One friend fell in love with it and the other hated it. As I knew would occur. It was her style and not his.
It was brilliant, imo. Majority of songs were great & it's completely original. I was pissed when I saw that Jude Law movie called Repo Men come out and basically rip off this story, haha. Terrance Zdunich's character of Graverobber was my favorite. He's one talented cat. Sarah Brightman being in a movie too was worthy.

This is the first time I've seen Channing actually do well in a film although he was pretty good in 21 Jump Street. I don't think he can act but he was pretty good in this. Also has Robert Downing, Chazz Palminteri and Shia. It's a really good coming-of-age film and the director does well in exploring all the characters.
Next on the watch list: The Hobbit, Les Mis and Submarine.
Yeah, my friend loved it so much that he actually downloaded the soundtrack, occasionally plays it in the car. Agreed about the Graverobber, he was my favourite as well, he had some brilliant songs. Gotta watch that other movie you mentioned by him.
It was a neat little picture. I liked it. Some more catchy tunes. Plus I made mention of it, but Emile Autumn being in it was probably my favorite moment from a movie all year. I still can't believe that. I'll be the only person out there who cares, but that's all I need.

Jesus Christ, what a trip! Again, lol. It's Lynch, so you either love him or hate him. I personally love him (Blue Velvet Eraserhead ), and love his style, love his whacky greatness and creativity. He's crazy. And Mulholland Drive, sheeeeeit, it's so colorful, yet so dark, so soothing, yet so creepy and scary. That breath of doom, the entire movie reeks of it. One of the most fascinating pieces of cinema ever, IMO. And visually, it might be the most impressive film ever too. Also, bizarre and surreal characters and scenes FTW. The Man Behind Winkie's scene has scared me shitless.
Spoiler for pics:
Rating: 10/10... and more!

Most things I remember from it is the obvious scene (TAKE A WILD GUESS AT WHAT THAT IS) & Theroux's girlfriend cheating on him and the comical scene where he takes back the jewelry when he leaves. I found it comical.
It's pretty trippy.

Awesome, lol. "Just forget you ever saw it, it's better that way"
Gonna watch Lost Highway today, for the first time, and I'm gonna re-watch Wild at Heart and Inland Empire. Lynch mode, baby!
