Ivan Drago is an intriguing character?

Not really, but there are certain things you would miss out on like why Rocky & Apollo are now friends and part of the theme of the later movies is about how money has changed Rocky but its not like those movies are complicated so its not like you can't figure it out.

Still I recommend you watch Rocky I & Rocky II to a lesser extent. Everything after the first is a blatent cash in on the Rocky name to make money, although the last one from a few years ago was surprisingly good concidering its a movie made solely for nostalgic purposes.

watch them like this: 1, 4, 3, 6, 5, 2. They're much better that way.

and yeah you can skip 5 if you want. It has memorably bad moments though, so I wouldn't. skip 2, stupid.

Rent Ted. Be underwhelmed. Only Flash Gordon fans will find some moments humorous. Which means the people who watch it won't know what the fuck is going on. (damn today's youth/MacFarlane fans)

Everyone in the theater was laughing during Ted and everyone I know who saw it had a good time.

Rocky 2 is pretty good even though it does get corny. but i love the training scene after Adrian tells him "win".
