Edit: Holy shit it's written by Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). let's hope his can write better than he cant act (ala. Ben Affleck)
Edit2: and the director of OldBoy is directing it. It will be awesome.
Ben Affleck got a lot better as an actor when he married Jennifer Garner. I'm sure she has a hand in helping select acting gigs. THink about it: After garbage like Pearl Harbor, Gigli, Jersey Girl and Daredevil, the first flick he does after marrying JG is Hollywoodland, quite the departure for him at the time. Now, he's an extremely talented filmmaker. And that includes me having seen Argo already.

Damn you've already seen it! Ads look good; the Town was awesome, and I do agree he must be getting better at acting. He was fine in the town, I thought he was fine in Good Will Hunting (but none of which you mentioned).

?/5 was Argo?
Still embargoed. But I did see it twice. Take that for what it's worth

Into The Wild is an absolutely fantastic movie but that's only my opinion. Into The Wild is in my top 5 favorite movies along with: The Pianist, Munich, The Prestige, and Gone Baby Gone. But yeah anyway, mad props for you Bubz... that is truly a great flick, there was some awesome cinematography done for that movie.

Did that even come out yet? I thought it was at least a few weeks away. Just like The Master, I was surprised to find out that it was in theaters. If Killing Them Softly is out already then that means my Saturday will consist of going to see both The Master and Killing Them Softly. I love those gritty crime-drama mob-related type movies, probably my favorite genre. If both are indeed out then I'm excited I'll be able to watch both movies that have Oscar potential.
Any ideas about when Argo comes out? I've been really geeked for that movie since I found out it was being made and what the movie was based on/what the storyline would be. Who woulda thunk that Ben Affleck would be such a good directer? Gone Baby Gone and The Town are 2 good movies and both in my top ten. I guess that we should of known better since he was behind Good Will Hunting which was a great flick. It'd be really awesome if it comes out this weekend because I'm the type of person that will waste (not a waste to me but probably to alot of other people) a whole Saturday afternoon/evening by going and seeing 3 movies (Master, Killing Them, Argo) at the theater all in one day.

Good to see I'm not alone in liking it so much, seems to be a few people who love it. Good stuff. Genuinely amazing film imo.
Just googled Killing Them Softly's release dates, but it's not out in the US until the end of November apparently. It's already out here, that's a hell of a gap between releases.

It's definitely one of the best films of the year. I would say it's just behind TDKR and The Avengers for best Sci-fi/Fantasy movie of the year. JGL was very believable as a young Bruce Willis, he got his mannerism down perfectly.
