NIC CAGE movies. I didn't like any of the ones listed.
In the Name of the King's best part was their soundtrack.
So watched two anticipated flicks from this year: The Hunger Games & Prometheus.
Hunger Games was...weird. Not so much the movie, but the flow of it. Something was off. Not bad. About the best way to describe my opinion on it. I can't see how anyone could love it, personally. Like it for a watch? Sure. Love it? I don't see it. The hate I've heard about it being "boring" is justified too. I can understand a mindset like that. It was slow. I probably will never watch it again. Worth one watch at least.
Prometheus was great. I was engaged from the start. All the talk of it being a prequel to the Alien franchise was always lingering in the back of my mind. Was on the look out for any hints. First kill scene was pretty similar. All in all it was well worth seeing. Fans of the franchise or Sci-Fi should give it a chance if they haven't. Much like a lot of movies this year, the ending
(or climax in some cases) was the best part here. Might be a redundant statement, but I don't think that counts for EVERY movie there has ever been. Idris Elba is a hero. What a MAN. And for those curious...
