watched this in 12th grade Astronomy. Really great documentary. Better than Bowling for Columbine and Super Size me, imo.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. That was in Drama class though. Only time they ever played a film in other subjects (only at Christmas & last week of term) was always fucking Shrek. I must've seen the first hour of that film 16 times.

5th Element is Bruce Willis's, Mila Jahocivich's, Gary Oldman's, and Crhris Tucker's best movie.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Anyone seen Tree of Life? I kinda wanna watch it but the reviews are either "worst movie ever" or "GOAT" and it's supposed to be a massive mindfuck. Not sure if it'd be a waste of time...

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

It's not a very accessible movie at all. It's Malick's most abstract film that I've seen. I liked it, but don't gush over it. I usually find Malick tiresome, but it worked for me.

Glory in my US History class sophomore year in high school.

It was the first I had ever seen the movie and the scene when Denzel Washington gets whipped is still burned into my mind. Powerfully acted and shot. Denzel was great in that role and even picked up his first Oscar from it. I should get around to watching that film again.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Saw The Fifth Element about a year ago. It's more of a comedy than an action flick.

To say I was flabbergasted would be an understatement.
