Watched a fair few films over the past few days:

Prometheus 6.5/10

This was an alright movie but didn't live up to the hype I got from trailers. While it is beautiful to look at , the plot was weak and it just felt like another Alien film with some mystery around the beginning of the human race thrown in. Like the lead girl though and FASSBENDER.

Hunger Games 7.5/10

I was expecting this to be some generic love story teen blah due to the sort of fanbase this film has (teenage girls mostly). While there is a love story involved it seems very real and the development in the relationship is clear to see. I think the actual battle parts of the film underwhelmed and the sponsors aspect really took any suspense out of it for me . Furthermore , I felt the ending was a bit of a cop out if you take the film as a stand alone and not part of the trilogy it is about to become.

Fight Club 9/10

I would love to give my thoughts on this film but then I'd be breaking rules #1 and #2

Nice!

Fight Club

Just re-watched The Avengers on DVD. It's still awesome! Didn't have the impact of seeing it for the first time at the cinema obviously, but it's still easily the best Marvel film to date and so much fun.

Watched Prometheus with a bunch of friends today.

And yeah, is LOL level of bad, cliffhangers without reason, problems that create more problems, then short cuts to resolve them. And even worse, idiotic stereotips to generate "drama".

Nothing out of the norm for Scott anyway. Lucky enough for me, i was invited

Watched Moonrise Kingdom yesterday.

Flawless film. Although Avengers is my favorite film of the year, Moonrise is easily the best film i've seen this year and second favorite film also.
