Probably Nolan was much more closer to the comic, but if you talk about quality of a film, Burton's Batman is so much better is not even fun. And well, in that time Burton still was a good filmmaker

Also, people who want movies being necessary closer to the books or the comics should keep reading the books or the comic

I've never read a comic book, ever. Just something that's never appealed to me. Tried to read one of the Batman ones (the famous one where he fights superman in a robot suit near the end) but put it down after about 8 pages. Probably will get a ton of shit for that but whatever lol.

I always thought the Burton ones were supposed to be closer to the comic and that's why people liked them so much?
I find the Nolan films to have so much more merit as films than Burton's. Granted I don't like anything Burton has ever done.

Burton films are as far away from the comics as you can get.

And don't worry, Dark Knight Returns is overrated.

Ah, fair enough. I read that one because my old man recommended it to me. He's been reading comics since the 60's and still does. He tells me everything about them and shit, so everything I know about comics is from him and not rhough reading them. He just said it was a good Batman comic so I tried to read it. Honestly couldn't have cared less about it. Same thing happened with Watchmen tbh.

King's Speech was great, but it definitely wasn't anywhere near the best film of the year (2010).

Was just walking around Best Buy and saw No Country for Old Men on Blu-Ray for a relatively cheap price so I bought. one of my fav movies. Also bought the Punk DVD cuz it looked like it was jam packed with interesting stuff along with great matches.

Nexr Blu-Ray im getting will be Lawless for sure or maybe Dark Knight Rises which is out real soon
