BLACK SWAN. See. It always comes around to that.
Think you might be the only person on here that shares my love for Black Swan, fucking loved it. Blue Valentine is my favourite from that year though, t'was definitely a good year for films iirc.

Watching WILD AT HEART with NIC FUCKING CAGE later . Thinking I might watch a ton of David Lynch stuff in the next few weeks. Holy Motors really made me want to watch more crazy shit.

End of watch was really good, I've watched it twice this past week. A funny thing you should look for is how many times they say "dude" or "bro", I couldn't help at laugh how often they are used throughout the film.

You need to see Inland Empire, probably the most liberated Lynch film ever. For Crazy Lynch i also suggest Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive, and my third favorite Lynch Film Twin Peaks: The Fire Walks With Me (But you should see the serie first)

A straight story is the only Lynch I liked. Lynch always has been overrated. I'm a fan of Arthouse but Lynch is too much of a question mark.

If you want to see Miike (i really doubt it now xD)look at Audition, Gozu, Visitor Q, Ichi The Killer, Agitator and his chapter for Masters Of Horror: Imprint
it's funny, those better films (I've seen audition and Ichi) are mentioned on the box of the worser movie. another reason I gave it a try.

Scott Pilgrim is great. I'll say that 5 times on one page I guess. I enjoy Michael Cera.
Awesome movie. Saw it like 10 times. So many memorable scenes... Vegone? Your BF is about to F'd in the B! Garlic Bread makes you fat! Her name is Knives. We are SexBobomb and we're here to sell out and stuff...

Epic. I liked it better than Skyfall and Avengers, combined.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

He is very one note (Cera) but very funny in that role he plays. Scott Pilgrim was good but a bit OTT with the post-modern features, I thought that grated after a while.

Add me to the Black Swan fan club. A modern masterpiece.
