Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

Thanks for the help guys. I have one more question and that question is: Would I be able to enjoy and understand the film even though I haven't watched any other James Bond films in my life?

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

The ending ties into past Bond films, so in that respect it might be a little lost on you. But essentially whilst it plays to some of the classics the whole Craig era of Bond has basically seen them try to tell the Bond story in a more modern setting and with violence you'd expect in the Bourne films. Its well acted, well written and has an engaging story throughout. So yeah I can't see you not really being affected by not watching the past films, though the ending is more obvious to people with past experience (but a quick google search would explain that if you're confused after the film ends).

It's REALLY cheap on amazon, last time I checked.
Spoiler for chronicle:
He kind of had to be taken out though. He was gonna destroy the city, maybe even more, due to his rage. That fight at the end was so badass. As was the way Andrew got taken out. Impaled. Nuts. Once again, such a cool flick, haha.

Really? Omg! I only looked up The Cabin in the Woods recently on Amazon. That was pretty cheap too. Even new it was a good price. I debated going to a store for black friday if I want to get some DVDs only b/c you never know how good the sales might be. Only bad thing is the chaos. Is it really worth it?

I went out on Black Friday to a Target 2 years ago. They had tons of DVDs for just a couple dollars and new stuff for like 5, but I think I'm just gonna do online stuff this year. It's way too hectic and annoying.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part II

I'd go since my buds will be here and able to give me a ride. I'll debate it. I have a busy day on Saturday so idk if I'm willing to be bothered with hectic shopping the day before. No matter how bad I'd like to find deals on Chronicle, TCITW, or various TV show seasons.

Plus, with ALL the wrestling sales going on atm. I know I'm tempted to splurge on those per usual.

wait for the DVD or netflix or whatever you kids do now a days. It was alright, I mean Phoenix was outstanding, that's about it.

I bought a kung fu movie "Sukiyaki western Django". It's a western samurai kung fu straight to DVD movie. But Quentin Tarantino is in it, and I think it might have something to do with "Django". Me and my brother are going to drink a lot and watch it, will report back later.

Nothing related outside the name.

Is a movie made by Takashi Miike in wich Tarantino made the cast beacuse he is a great fan of Miike, in fact they are great friends and even Tarantino put Audition in his top 10 movies from the 00's

And about the movie, the final duel is great but i don't think is close to the best Miike Work

Would I write a book? Or should I take to the stage?

In before Sephy's Ace Attorney post.

Did Miike do 13 Samurai? Because I have that movie and have yet to watch it.
