I love all three though. The last two are the only films I've seen more than once at the cinema.
Same for me. I would have them in that order. I watched DK 3 times at the cinemas and watched DKR 4 times (haha). Such a great trilogy.

Watched Midnight in Paris last night. It was a really clever film and was visually very appealing. I really enjoyed it and though Woody Allen did a great job. It makes me want to visit Paris. I was surprised by the performances of both Wilson and McAdams a they were pretty solid, which I didn't expect. Stoll as Hemingway was awesome. Overall, a lovely flick.

Not a fan of how Spielberg decided to handle the assassination though, thought that was lame. Day-Lewis was awesome as always but the real treat for me was JAMES F'N SPADER & WALT GOGGINS in the same scene even if Walton had a pretty small part. Tommy Lee Jones was also pretty awesome playing himself in the 1800's.
James Spader definitely made it awesome. I just wish Spielberg would have included more humor in the movie. People know it's going to be slow, but that doesn't mean it has to be super boring too. The funniest parts are when they would make fun of DDL's (as Lincoln) stories. and they took like 20 minutes to get to a simple joke.

I probably would have liked Lincoln more if I weren't so tired at the time. I mean I enjoyed it but it was a long day and a long not-so-super exciting movie at the end of it was a bit much.

Just watched Rust And Bone tonight, and I have to say it's one of the most powerful films I've seen recently, not just from this year, but in general. It's a brilliant study of two characters from two completely different backgrounds who are drawn together by a tragic accident. Marion Cotillard is absolutely amazing in this. Easily the best performance of the year, male or female. Some genuinely shocking and some really moving, powerful scenes that stay with you long after the film has finished. Probably the film of the year for me, maybe even better than Argo.

He preferred his watermelons. Never heard of any dames, or fellas, in trouble when he had his watermelons near by.
