Doctor Who (Doctor WHO?) Series 7 Discussion (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

First episode, Asylum of the Daleks, aired today. That Moff, he knows how to pull a fast one. If Oswin's personality is any indication of the new companion, I am so excited. JLC was so fantastic. She stole the show imo.

Lots of great twists. Right off the bat, Amy and Rory not working out (expected this from Pond Life), the human/Daleks, and the big twist ending. I didn't see that coming until RIGHT before. That moment when the Doctor stops and you are seeing him through the Dalek lens, that's when it hit me. Damn you, Moffat.

Well, next week sees Dinosaurs...on a Spaceship! How cool!

Edit: Oh and to get you guys excited for the rest of Series 7 Part 1...

Daleks are, Daleks, i just can't take them seriously. Dinosaurs on Spaceships, that seems like something i can believe in.

Its going to take me a while to catch up since I'm going to start watching the series(just bought seasons 1-6). Is it mandatory to watch the older series?

Loved oswin can't wait for her to be a companion she's brilliant. Wonder how they will bring her back though perhaps she's part of his future like river or something?

Had a huge ass smile on my face when the daleks forgot who The Doctor was and they all chanted doctor who? I'm sure the daleks will appear again but that was just fantastic

There is no reason why you can't start with Series 5 and watch up until now, then go back and watch Series 1 - 4. BUT, I would recommend watching Blink and Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead from Series 3 and 4 respectively before Series 5, but that is up to you.

I meant the series before it was brought back, sorry I should have been clearer.

re: Doctor Who (Doctor WHO?) Series 7 Discussion (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

Since the 1st series of the reboot + Cyberman vs. Daleks I havn't enjoyed a Dalek story line as much as i did last night. I'm more watching Dr Who out of loyalty now a days as there are less and less episodes i enjoy, But to my surprise i enjoyed that episode.

re: Doctor Who (Doctor WHO?) Series 7 Discussion (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

Good ending and no one is getting fooled at the Doctor leaving Amy and Rory being left at home. They are really starting to annoy me. The Daleks of course were stupid again by not knowing that he will find a way to kill them. Also I wish they used the "every Dalek ever" more than like 5 seconds. Yes, I would recommend watching from season 1 (2005).

Best Dalek episode since DALEK. It was great. Smith was on fire and the actual plot was one of the most interesting in a long time.
