DON'T READ SEPH. Spoilers.

Thought we'd been trolled until the last 5 minutes and then it happened

Don't really know why the Doctor can never see them again though. I get why he can't revisit New York in that time period, but surely he could return later on in their life, or if they returned to England?

I cried haven't cried like that since Donna had to say goodbye.

For all those people who live in New York have fun sleeping tonight

Didn't like the slow invasion episode. They could have taken the cubes theme in a million different and interesting ways. In the end, it was just meh.

That was...heartwrenching. Was teary all the way from nearly the rooftop scene to the end.

MAJOR SPOILERS!

The theories that The Ponds would get a happy ending where they live happily ever after after being zapped back in time were true.

Was I the only one underwhelmed by it? Seemed a bit rushed and the angels weren't much use like past episodes where they were brilliant. Really ready for a reboot now. Been ready for Amy and Rory to leave all of this season and I can do without River Song for a long stretch now. Assuming the Doctor meats JLC pre dalek stuff and knows her future and the Dalek/JLC episode ends up being the finale or the 50th anniversary episode.

Not the only one, in the minority though. That was great stuff.

Not sure how the Ponds got a 'happy ending', Seph? It's bitwersweet, they lived their lives without seeing their friends and family again after being thrown back in time. Yeah, they were together but I'd hardly call it a happily ever after. There were some plot holeish type stuff, but it didn't affect my enjoyment of the episode.

Didn't like Statue of Liberty Weeping Angel, though

It was a solid episode. There have been better. I was ok with the Statue of Liberty Angel, but I wish it did more than just stare. I had some issues with having the Ponds just staying in the past. I know the Tardis can't go back to that time, but couldn't River go back and grab them with her vortex manipulator? That's how she got there in the first place. And couldn't the Doctor pick them up a year or two later? Or maybe I missed something.

There were a lot of plot holes. Just look over them for your own sanity.
