Is there any possibility of seeing the "ganger doctor" returning this series?

From what I can remember, his "death" always seemed a little bit inconclusive...

Got to say this season has been the best since the show restarted in 2005 and christopher eccleston will always be the best doctor season one was brilliant with Rose not being an arrogant cow , Micky not being a idiot and Captain Jack being just right and not over toned christ knows what RTD was thinking with season 2.

Marked for the Birdie Song and Rory's Dad. Kinda ready for Jenna to replace Amy and Rory now. Next week better be good to make up the last 3 nothing episodes.

That preview for Angels in Manhattan just confirmed the major rumor for the Angels and makes me think the prevailing theory on what happens is true.

Edit: So this weeks episode aired already today?

Yes. It was decent (bit of a RTD episode in truth), but the ending was terribly rushed and anti-climactic.

I started thinking it was a two parter when it came to 5 minutes to go. Then quick Doctor fix and everything's fine lol.

I'd prefer it if the future seasons are mostly two parters. Most of the stand alone episodes are really forgettable and usually kinda bad.

I don't know, it just depends on how well they are written. If a stand alone is shit 'its cause of the writing i a 2 parter is shit it's 'cause of the writing. However i always hate quick fix endings (Which 2 parters seem to have anyway)

Just to reinforce my opinion my two favorite episodes from any new who are Blink and Waters of Mars, both stand alone episodes.

It mostly depends on the writing. Doctor Dances/Empty Child, Family of Blood, Library, Angels are all good 2 parter episodes and Dalek/Blink/Midnight/Doctor's Wife/Vincent and Doctor are great stand alone.

Like, a 2 parter wouldn't have fixed this as it was a really shitty plot. The intrigue of the cube was about non existent - the doctor/amy interaction was interesting again, though.

I mean there are plenty of bad multi arcs, aliens in london/world war 3 two parter being particularly fucking disgusting.
