Haven't been a big fan of Moffat's era but I thought that was a great episode

Re: Doctor Who (Doctor WHO?) Series 7 Discussion (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

That was damn brilliant, damn, damn brilliant.

Also just realised that there is a point in the Time War where John Hurt is the doctor, Derek Jacobi is The Master and TIMOTHY DALTON is Rasillon, that's pant wettingly cool.

Very good, almost think they should have pulled the trigger and killed off Clara though.

VALEYARD mention.

The last 3 seconds of that was the worst TV I have ever seen. Ever.

Spoiler for The Name of the Doctor:

I feel like the Whisper Men were under utilised. I know they weren't key to the episode, but they have a great (read: frightening) appearance. If there's one thing Moffat is good at, it is creating scary villains.

EDIT: May spoiler tag all that just in case :/

John Hurt = happy.

Clara's story was nicely wrapped up even know she does seem very forced all of a sudden.

The animation at the beginning with the older doctors was hilariously done.

Re: Doctor Who (Doctor WHO?) Series 7 Discussion (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

So the doctor is actually real in real life. John Hurt is a time traveler and is the doctor!

Can't wait for the 50th anniversary now and see how this all ties up

Re: Doctor Who (Doctor WHO?) Series 7 Discussion (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

Favorite episode of the Matt Smith era by far

Spoiler for The Name of the Doctor:

My theory is that John Hurt is the Doctor who ends the time war

Matt smith says "He goes against the name"
The Doctor Means Healer
The Doctor that ends the time war kills two entire species including his own.

So effectively he's the "Lost Doctor" before we meet the 9th Doctor (Eccleston)

So psyched!

Also regarding David Tennant in the 50th anniversary, i think it will be Clone tennant as piper, then they won't be crossing timeline. Also in a deleted scene from the season 4 finale Original Tennant gives clone Tennant a piece of the Tardis so clone Tennant can grow his own Tardis.

On a final note, if this is River Songs swan song, then i very much enjoyed her run. The way she was introduced was completely unique. A well done character.
