Re: Most disturbing movie you've seen?

"Don't Deliver Us From Evil". This movie is a pedophile's fantasy. Underage French girls who worship satan, kill animals to torture the priest, burn down houses & barns, and seduce older men.

"Vase de Noces/The Pig Fucking Movie"

Film is exactly what the title says. Guy living in the middle of nowhere Belgium, forms s sexual relationship with his own pig. Gets her pregnant and it just gets worse from there. And yes, they show the sex scene with the pig.

(BTW the whole movie is on youtube. Uploaded from our friends from Russia, with love)

Guinea Pig film series

A cult favorite amongst gore fans. It is basically a mock snuff film series.

"Salo or the 120 days of Sodom"

Fucking classic is all I can say. Four very powerful men during Italy's fascist regime, kidnap 9 virgin boys and 9 virgin girls. And for the next following months torture, rape, and mutilate them during the entire film.

"Gummo"

LOL, I don't even know where to begin with this one. I'll just say this: Rednecks, ohio, vile white trash, animal abusers...

"Mordum"

Without a doubt, the most realistic mock snuff film ever made. (That's not a porno)

That's all I can think of for now. I have way more, but I just can't remember the exact title names. I'll definitely update this page later if anyone is interested.

"Begotten"

Don't know how to explain this so here's the description from wiki:

"The story opens with a robed, profusely bleeding "God" disemboweling himself, with the act ultimately ending in his death. A woman, Mother Earth, emerges from his remains, arouses the body, and impregnates herself with his semen. Becoming pregnant, she wanders off into a vast and barren landscape. The pregnancy manifests in a fully grown convulsing man whom she leaves to his own devices. The "Son of Earth" meets a group of faceless nomads who seize him with what is either a very long umbilical cord or a rope. The Son of Earth vomits organic pieces, and the nomads excitedly accept these as gifts. The nomads finally bring the man to a fire and burn him. "Mother Earth" encounters the resurrected man and comforts him. She seizes the man with a similar umbilical cord. The nomads appear and proceed to rape her. Son of Earth is left to mourn over the lifeless body. A group of characters appears, carry her off and dismember her, later returning for Son of Earth. After he, too, is dismembered, the group buries the remains, planting the parts into the crust of the earth. The burial site becomes lush with flowers."

Re: Most disturbing movie you've seen?

I don't think movies like A Serbian Film or the Guinea Pig Series are disturbing at all. It's just gore. You can't just have gore to make a movie disturbing. We need a coherent and understandable scrrenplay, some characters to invesst in, at least a melancholic soundtrack ().

Those movies just compete with one another on how realistic they can make sticking a 2 by 4 into a vagina look.

The ending to Beware! Children at Play is both hilarious and disturbing.

Re: Most disturbing movie you've seen?

I tend to avoid movies that are disturbing and disgusting so I can't comment on most. I prefer to be entertained or be educated when I watch a film, not feel sick the whole time. I did watch Human Centipede out of morbid curiosity 'cause it was on TV anyway and yeah, that shit was fucking disgusting.

That sounds fucked up. Just googled it and it gets a 6.0 on IMDB, I expected worse.

Apparently the movie August Underground's Mordum is really fucked up.

Re: Most disturbing movie you've seen?

Happy to say I've not seen any of the films mentioned, even if I do know the plot of most of them.

Martyrs: French film about a girl who is tortured and grows up to get revenge on her torturers. There is much more to it than that but I don't want to give too much away, seeing where it goes is half the fun.
