Shit ain't weak son. It's an extremely disturbing film if you've ever been into drugs. And even if you haven't it's still a helluva lot disturbing than A Serbian Film or some stupid gory movie, that just try to one up each other on mutilation.
I've seen 'Martyrs' and that shit just made me depressed, seeing the girl getting the crap beaten out of her. Can't really watch too many disturbing movies as I prefer to stay mostly upbeat after watching a movie (most of the time).
I'll mention a movie that hasn't been mentioned yet and that is Threads, a British television drama screened on BBC television in 1984 that accounts the effects of nuclear war on the city of Sheffield. The first half of the movie is just the country preparing for the worst, but when it officially happens, it is fucking scary and ultimately disturbing, primarily because it's not of what we could imagine to happen, but really what could very well have been a reality, especially at the time. The second half of the movie and the very end are some of the most depressing scenes I've ever witnessed. Safe to say I have second thoughts about ever watching this movie again.
The whole movie is on YouTube, but for a little taster, watch this clip, especially the bit at 1:21 which is pretty damn harrowing.

I remember the last few minutes of the Movie and anybody watch it in full would be against Nuclear war. There was an HBO Movie that was shot like a news broadcast about a Nuclear attack in the 80's. That really scare me as a child.
