i am still on the 2nd season and i really enjoy the show, i have alot of episodes to get through thank god for netflix haha, i always say tho neil patrick harris made the barney character wait for it... LEGANDARY.

Its taken 8 or 9 years but besides some of the flashbacks to collage I think its only taken place within maybe like 5 years. Its like how Breaking Bad is now on season 4 but its only been like 2 years that it all happens |

'Summer of 2005', 'October 2012'. So that point is invalid.
Show would unravel better if they weren't dropping spoilers off 1-2 years in advanced. Suppose it does get people to tune in, see how it unfolds. Would of prefered to of seen Barney and Robin get back together without knowing they were getting married, maybe stop referring to things like 'Autumn of Break-Ups' etc. But its done well despite that and I still watch it.
Anyone else felt they copped out a bit with Barney and Quinn? Just to give the audience that last bit of single, perverted Barney.

There are things about that which wouldn't make any sense given things that have happened in the show, but I'm not saying it wouldn't happen.

Loved the season finale tonight. Finally got to see who the mother is without knowing much else. Season 9 will be very interesting. Hope they finish it up in a great way.
