To be fair you could say the same about WWE which has the longest running episodic TV show ever in RAW

I thought the last season really dragged from about the half way point. We all knew Barney and Robin would end up together and they just dragged a whole season of them with other people. This is the only current sitcom I enjoy and I hope they give us a really continuosly solid season this year because 6 and 7 were largely hit and miss. They have to show us the mother this year right its been 9 years just get on with it already cos we've seen enough of these season long girlfriends Ted has had and now hes back with the girl from season 1 which I doubt is gonna last long into the new season.

The first thre season were very good. But then it went downhill in my opinion. Then and there a few good episodes but the last season was just crap in my opinion

At this point quite a lot of me is just watching for the end product, I'm caring more about the eventual finale than anything that happens before it. I just hope YM isn't someone I thought it could be, and I really hope it isn't Carlie/Carly.

Love the show to death but I hope they end it this season, it's been dragging since Season 5.

Cannot wait for the new season but I don't see it ending this season. I think they will make sure it goes 10 seasons before they wrap the story up
