The statuettes should also all have carved faces of groundbreaking icons for the various categories.

only one I can think of is the Jim Carrey movie; Number 23. I loved that movie but I seem to be the only person in the world that did.

Same could be said for "Chronicles of Riddick." It isn't that good, and yet, there I am, watching it for the 42nd time.

Here's one: "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" was the funniest comedy I've seen since "Hot Tub Time Machine."

Let that little nugget simmer.

Hardy's Bane is better than Ledger's Joker.

Ledger deserved the Oscar, it wasn't a pity throw.

The Dark Knight Rises is better than The Avengers.

The Avengers is still one of the best films of the summer.

Black Hawk Down is the best war film ever released.

28 Days Later is the best action-horror film ever released.

Slumdog Millionaire is awful.

Eh, I lean towards agreeing with your last point.

Anyways, so, Hardy deserves an Oscar as well, right?

I don't think I agree with any of that other than The Avengers one.

I really like BHD but to say its a better movie than Apocalypse Now. no way.

Slumdog is overrated though.

BHD is just a republican, american fascist bullshit, just like everything that Scott has made in the last twenty years with the exception of Gladiator, that just was a rip-off of The Fall of the Roman Empire

Slumdog in the other side is a hipocrite film with a bunch of Bolliwood explotation.

Hoffman probs deserved the Oscar (as well as all other cast members) for the incredibly underrated Doubt the year Ledger won for Dark Knight. Both were great performances though so I didn't mind seeing Heath win.

I really didn't mind Slumdog. Did it deserve all the awards it got? Definitely not. But I thought it was a decent, entertaining flick.
