Re: Hope is lost, faith is broken...The Dark Knight Rises - July 20th, 2012 (SPOILERS
Will see it again this week. Will love it for sure but Banes quick and.uneventful death ruined alot foe me. Wish they hinted he was still alive or had him die in some other way. Just hated how Bane went from main bad guy badass to Talia's bodyguard/lovesick guy.
Did anyone catch John Blakes subtle hint at Killer Croc when talking about gators in the sewers.

Addressing the plothole of Bruce being able to get back onto a completely closed off Gotham City undetected, here's why I bought it...

Not really a plothole. Considering the whole saga takes 5 months, he could've sneaked back in fine.

That and I noticed when the guy at the shoe-shine stand said he was going to flip a coin at the stock exchange (Dent nod).

"There's no real money here to steal"
"Then why are you people here?"
I love Bane.

Another thing that irked me is if Batman's so good with preparation, why'd he need 3 attempts to escape, at worst he realizes the rope hinders him on his first failed attempt. At best, he seems that it does that with the guy who attempts it before him.

Another tale of internal conflict. Why do people stay attached to things that hold them down? Let loose, use your fear of death to do the impossible.

So was the villain the best part of the movie again. Joker and TwoFace were the best parts of DK imo. I though Bane stole the show, yeah it might have been hard for some to understand him but he had some great lines, was completely badass, and looked confident and in charge whenever shown. Did everyone like the design of The Bat. Just looked to Alien for me for some reason.

You did catch the League scar on her back in the Wayne Manor scene with Bruce and her right?

Re: Hope is lost, faith is broken...The Dark Knight Rises - July 20th, 2012 (SPOILERS
Saw it today, loved it. Great end to a great trilogy. Probably the only gripe I had was Bane's "death", would have been far better imo to have Batman defeat him and leave him broken mentally and physically (like Azrael did in Knightfall) instead of having him blown away by Catwoman. Also wasn't sure why nothing ever came from Bruce noticing Miranda/Talia's League of Shadows scar? Other than that, it was the perfect end to the series. Bale and Hardy in particular were outstanding and I don't think there was a single weak performance in there. Not sure what happens with Blake now, considering Nolan's stepping down. I think the "Robin" reveal at the end was a red herring and he will go on to take over the mantle of the bat or become Nightwing instead. Certainly hope that's the case as I've never been a fan of the Robin character....
