Great argument from the typical ignorant Nolan fanboy.
It has great parts, such as the score, SFX, and Ledger's performance. But the film as a whole is lacking. Once The Joker is captured the film falls apart. Nolan is more concerned with stuffing his film full of twists, turns, and set pieces he has no time to build any kind of emotional core, none of his characters feel like people, they are just cogs in the massive machine of spectacle over substance.

Good lord, I loved the film.
Joker was the better Villain, though Bane was badass, but this was the better film.
As a film, TDK was kind of overrated.
The one downside was a lack of real fighting between Bane and Batman, would have liked to see a bit more.

Amazing movie. Truly is.
Bane is one badass motherfucker. Tho, they did kind of soften him near the end. He should of stayed badass to the end.
The ending was quite good, I thought. It left room for more movies.

does anyone else think the movie should have ended with Alfred nodding at Bruce and Selena, without having the camera show them?

Actually, I thought Bane's voice was fine. He sounded good. And yes, there definitely will be a Batman/Robin movie, otherwise we wouldn't have the open ending. Probably with Robin becoming the new Batman.

Levitt was so good.
I marked out so hard over Robin.
How did Batman survive the explosion?

I wondered that also. The auto-pilot was supposedly fixed though so for all we know after we him get in the Bat he could've jumped out or something improbable like that ... I thought he was going to drop the bomb in the water but I guess he had no control of the rope or whatever it was hooked to.
I'm seeing it again tonight so I think I'll be able to pick up on a few of the little things I might have missed. Hathaway's performance alone is enough to watch it again.
