From what I read most of the complaints are with the pacing of the movie, the fighting scenes and Banes character.

I don't think it is fair to say the critics giving it a bad review are just doing it for attention (except for Armand White or whatever the fuck his name is). It is their job to judge movies. If they didn't like it, they didn't like it. So what if they didn't like it? Not everybody thinks the same way you do. OH NO!!!

I have honestly NEVER heard that comment thrown at movie critics before (again, except White). I've heard people say they are wrong. I have heard people say they overlooked somethings. But to say they are doing it JUST to get attention? That's a new one.

I understand Batman is a sacred cow for a lot of people. I honest to God had someone look me in the eye and say that Batman could beat Dr. Manhattan in a fight "with enough prep time" (to which I say bullshit!). I know Batman is awesome and everything, but lets not take negativity thrown at him so personally, OK?

And at the end of the day, isn't enough that you liked the movie? Dark Knight Rises is getting mostly praise. So it isn't going to get 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Who cares?

He talks about a scene in some detail (not much) so you might not want to read it.

You obviously don't get the "Batman with time to plan" meme.

I understand, there might be a few out there who do it for attention, but my original post was sorta sarcastic in a way. That is their job after all, and if they don't like the movie then it's fine and its their opinion. Batman was one of the most hyped up movies this year, so it was bound to spark something when it comes down to the critic reviews. But people should really just accept other peoples opinions. Watch the movie yourself and form your own opinion about it.

Lulz, "Die in a fire". Although, considering Batman Begins...

I'm curious, in a reviewer sense, why Avengers would be better than Batman. Because as much as I loved Avengers, Loki wasn't all that interesting/threatening, and all the fodder they fought was...just fodder. Bane looks infinitely more interesting.

Call Kenny Loggins. Cause you're in the Danger Zone.

I thought Loki was pretty interesting, but not very threatening. Movie was more about the different heroes coming together anyways so he worked for me.

Loki actually won in the movie tho. He did a great Xanatos Gambit.

re: Hope is lost, faith is broken...The Dark Knight Rises - July 20th, 2012 (SPOILERS)

I am being told a high school buddy of mine, whom is a Comic Book (especially Batman) fan to the most extreme, is renting out a screen at the local theater and they are going to air the movie Thursday at 5 PM for him.

I don't condone this as I think everyone should have an equal opportunity, but I definitely won't bitch if he decides to invite more than 10 or 15 people (meaning I would 'make the list'). I can't wait to see what happens to NCG Cinemas if they get caught doing this.
