I can't imagine any setting where someone that disliked the first 2 of a trilogy would ever enjoy the 3rd. Is there really *any* trilogy like that?

So professional reviewers that basically dislike the franchise as a whole with all the setup and such, would almost never enjoy the payoff. In that aspect, it's unfortunate that it's a job for them, and they have to watch the movie, because it's already quite biased.

84% seems about right for this film. It's how I'd rate the previous two films so it's in line with expectations (although it'll probs drop to 80% ish when all is said and done).

True, but if you give a negative review on something like Batman, your pageviews just increased 2 million %. It's the same reason smaller gaming sites throw out 9's and 10's like crazy. On Metacritic, their reviews appear at the top of the list and will be viewed more.

I've loved every one of Nolan's films tbh. I liked Insomnia the least but still thought it was great.
