I disagree. I'm assuming you're talking about TDK and that has the best pacing I've ever experienced in a movie. To me, 2 hours and 45 mins seems like an hour and a half and that's hard as fuck to do. Seph mentioned the LOTR movies and those to me are a prime example of movies that drag on for fucking ever and are boring as fuck as a result. Each LOTR movie felt like 4 hours to me.

FotR- 208 minutes (3 hours, 28 minutes)
TTT- 223 minutes (3 hours, 43 minutes)
RotK- 250 minutes (4 hours, 10 minutes)

Total- 11 hours, 21 minutes. So yeah, It's not that they felt like they were 4 hours, they just were.

But to anyone that has a non iron clad bladder and enjoys drinking a beverage, 2:45 is a long ass time to sit still. And I have heard that the pacing is amazing, so that should help.

True, but TDK was also like 2:30 or something and didn't feel like that.

From the previews this movie looks action packed so it'll probably fly by.

The only times that movies feel really long are when they show them on tv. With the commercials already long movies like The Godfather are like 5 hours long.

Thank the powers that be for DVRs. I won't watch a mvie on TV, unless it is a premium channel without commercials, I DVR it first and fast forward. FX made Spiderman 3, a 139 minute movie, into a four hour affair.
