Fucking foreigns, man. I picked the wrong summer to move.
About the film, I'm led to believe from the trailers that Batman has been out of action since defeating the Joker, but Batman Begins ended with the introduction of the Joker.
So that would mean Batman only fought Ra's, Scarecrow, Joker and now Bane in his entire career. What happened to stalking the dark streets, hanging around on rooftops and fighting random crooks? He must have done all that between Ra's and Joker, but he always had his hands full with them.
Just something that occurred to me. Maybe I've missed something.
Batman was fighting the mob(i think) between Begins and Dark Night. Pretty sure that's what the whole Batman in Hong Kong/Harvey Dent stuff was about in the beginning of TDK.

Ah, of course. That's what that big meeting between all the gangsters was about, the one Joker interrupts before making the pencil disappear. They were all mad at Batman for fucking up their shit, hence why the Chinese bloke was making his offer.

Wow, they actually do that shit in France? Here only animations (live-action family films on occasion) are dubbed, but the original is always available.

Batman is a fuckin' squeamish asshole. Judge Dredd would have killed Joker 900 progs ago.
I was absolutely stoked when Magog killed Joker. Superheroes with bullshit codes against killing suck.
"Oh, I have a code against killing, but I'll keep letting these sociopaths escape to rape, murder and poison millions, then cap it all off with the chief nemesis of the insane asylum rogue's gallery, Joker, launching nuclear missiles."
Go fuck yourself with that reasoning, Bats and Supes.

I've only been here two weeks so I'm still learning how things go down, but most English-language films do seem to be dubbed, even the ones with incredibly famous people in them. Like Arnie films for example, they have one voice actor who dubs all Arnie's lines so his famous accent is recreated and recognisable but in French. I think they might do it like that for most famous actors, once they have one voice actor who can sound a bit like them, they stick with them so the voices do become familiar.
Whenever I watch foreign films though I prefer the original language with English subs. I like to hear the original actors' voices, not some dude in a sound booth who has never even met the director.

Till recently Batman used to kill all the time. He killed so many henchen in the first Burton films. Nolan just gave Batman a layer to keep Joker open for sequels unlike Burton did.

Batman hasnt killed anyone since the 50s.
honestly, id rather live in a world where a psychopath billionaire ninja and godlike all seeing, all hearing superman who can punch a hole through the planet cant kill rather than one where they do
