Re: Which Famous People Have You Met

Worked with a concert promoter for years and met tons of mid-level indie, rock, punk and metal bands, a few of which went on to big things (strokes, kings of leon, white stripes, black keys) they were almost all pretty small time at the time and happy to be on their first international tours so generally they were all pretty pleasant to deal with, had quite a few beers with some of them.

Also briefly worked in a pub next door to a fancy Dublin hotel and served pints to Russell Crowe, Robbie Coltrane, Alan Ricman and a few others, Crowe was the best, pleasant guy and very generous tipper, always appreciated.

edit -oh also, I went to school with footballer John O Shea, and for a very brief time lived next door to Liam Neesons mother, never met him though.

Re: Which Famous People Have You Met

Luciano Pavarotti, nice and cool person
Amy Lynn Hartzler (evanescence) , so funny and crazy, in a good way
Randy Orton, he was a real gentleman despite the rumors about him being rude with fans
Rammstein, polite and "professional" but they were just signing authographs

Other two italian singers that anyone here probably knows about ^^"

Damn, Seabs ripping up the music charts with S Club Jrs. I had to chuckle at the Ade Akinbiyi mention, he was fucking shit.

Re: Which Famous People Have You Met

Nobody famous really. Book writer Douglas Foley came to our school about six years ago. Got his autograph and he was very nice. Don't know what I did with the autograph, though. I had it in one of my old bags but it's probably gone now.
