Re: FILM OF THE YEAR 2012

I've seen most of Tarantino's movies, and can't stand them. Cannot sit through Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs.

Re: FILM OF THE YEAR 2012

I still need to finish watching Inglorious Basterds. Think I got to the part where Brad Pitt's gang save that undercover agent from the inn. But to be honest I don't really care for that gang. I much preferred it when people were actually not speaking English. Christoph Waltz is just mesmerizing on screen. Great actor.

Really? I was engrossed from the moment it began. It's one of my all time favorite movies. Top 5 without a doubt.

Yeah, Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2 are a must. Those are works of art, imo. I'm on the point of worship.

You also have the missing chromosomes that allow you to actually enjoy CHIKARA, so no one should listen to you.

Waltz saved Basterds from being a really forgettable movie IMO.

Everything about Basterds was memorable. The bar scene where shit goes down b/c of a simple showing of 3 fingers, man, that's legendary. Soooo awesome.

Re: FILM OF THE YEAR 2012

AFTER THINKING ABOUT IT SOME MORE, I believe I like Silver Linings Playbook more than Django Unchained. So I have prepared my final list for the top 5 best and top 5 worst movies of 2012. Tada -

BEST

1. The Avengers
2. The Hobbit
3. The Dark Knight Rises
4. Silver Linings Playbook
5. Django Unchained

WORST

1. Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace 3D
2. Prometheus
3. The Amazing Spider Man
4. The Hunger Games
5. Taken 2

Not planning on seeing any more movies for the rest of the year, so this is MAH FINAL LIST. Great year for film for sure.
