The guy has created some of the highest grossing movies of all time and they have all gotten greet reviews from the majority of critics.

Everything had flaws, but stop acting like Nolan is absolute shit.
We have this discussion before no? we can talk for years about the state of the critic, you want serious crtics? stop reading pappers bullshit, most of the critic today, specially in america are just people being pay for marketing.

Most of the critics i respect believe that Nolan is shit. acting like if believing this is wrong seems more like a butthurt cry than anything else. And i will not go on repeat again about why Nolan is shit, you can find 10 or 15 of my post pointing reasons about the same thing over and over.

Top 10 movies of 2012 in no order

Argo
Skyfall
Looper
The Hunger Games
The Avengers
The Dark Knight Rises
The Cabin In The Woods
Lincoln
Prometheus
Savages

Honorable mentions:
Lawless
Battleship
John Carter
Safe House [despite the horrible ending]
Act Of Valor [Zero Dark Thirty will probably top this]
Snow White & The Huntsman
Ted
21 Jump Street
Cloud Atlas
Men In Black III
End Of Watch
The Bourne Legacy [the ending sucked, but still a good movie to watch if you've seen all the previous movies]
The Expendables 2
Premium Rush
The Possession
The Words [gets heavily criticized, but still enjoyed it]

Les Mis will probably be No. 1 on my list come next week

Most are being paid for marketing? There's plenty of big budget movie that have gotten shitty reviews.

Your critics that you respect are obviously in the minority and you are too.

So don't say Nolan is shit. Say I think Nolan is shit.

I didn't mind The Dark Knight Rises. Fell asleep for about 15-20 minutes whilst watching it at the cinema. Some good bits but not a patch on the first two, much to long and disjointed for me.

Argo however for me is Film of the Year. Absolute class from start to finish.

If we're supposed to listen to critics and grossing numbers then this thread would be moot.

The Dark Knight Rises or The Avengers can make all the money they want. I'd still pick a more under the radar type flick like Safety Not Guaranteed over Avengers and on the same level as TDKR.

So don't say Nolan is shit. Say I think Nolan is shit.

So, because i'm in the minority, should i say otherwise? well, so everybody should accept Justin Bieber or whatever shit the people accept in his majority? Fine to know...

Also, i asume we're debating like grow up people, seriously you want me to put IMO after whatever shit i say? Lol

My favourite movie of 2012 was The Dark Knight Rises, so I guess I'd say that was the best film of 2012.
