Exactly.
Argo, Moonrise Kingdon, The Avengers & Lincoln are all easily better & I could argue that Seven Psychopaths was more fun & Life of Pi is certainly more visually stimulating. I enjoyed both Skyfall & Wreck-it-Ralph more too. And I've still yet to see Killing Them Softly which I have high expectations for.

Well, considering TDKR got great reviews from critics, obviously people who know about films also thought it was good.
You seem to be posting like your opinion is fact.

Depends of what you understand by critics. If you're talking about people like Ebert who just says "great plot, amazing acting" and remark "i like it" all the time, then probably yes.
Now, serious critics like Rosenbaum or the people from Cahiers Du Cinema has been saying that Nolan is shit for years

I honestly don't care that much to know who any critics are, but from what I read, there are many critics who pointed out flaws but also called it a good/great movie.
Saying Nolan is shit is plain stupid. Or they have a very loose term of the word shit.

Re: FILM OF THE YEAR 2012
yeah, probably mainstream bias medias...
Anyway, why one can't say Nolan is shit? specially if you come with great arguments like the tendency he has for this great trascendental movies that doesn't say anything.
Is the same flaw that the majority of the American filmmakers have, people like Aronofsky or Scott who believe in this "anything needs to made sense" trap and good movie needs to be "serious" idiocy
