Re: FILM OF THE YEAR 2012

Updated list...

Argo
The Dark Knight Rises
Safety Not Guaranteed
End Of Watch
Moonrise Kingdom
The Avengers
Martha Marcy May Marlene
Skyfall
Looper
The Raid: Redemption

The Master, Beats Of The Southern Wild and Rust And Bone will probably knock 3 of them off when I've seen them tbh.

Re: FILM OF THE YEAR 2012

I really find it hard to take anyone seriously when they say that The Dark Knight Rises is the movie of the year. That being said, there's no reason for me to come in here & be a Negative Nancy & dump on the thread, so I'll just say, yeah, not even top 10 & easily the worst of the Nolan Trilogy.

Exactly.

Argo, Moonrise Kingdon, The Avengers & Lincoln are all easily better & I could argue that Seven Psychopaths was more fun & Life of Pi is certainly more visually stimulating. I enjoyed both Skyfall & Wreck-it-Ralph more too. And I've still yet to see Killing Them Softly which I have high expectations for.

Re: FILM OF THE YEAR 2012

Red Lights. Think it's my favorite film ever. Not action packed. Not a terrorfying horror. A intriguing film in the same vein as The Sixth Sense. I love it!
