I agree that Jesse is put in situations because of Walt, (Killing Gale is the first thing that comes to mind) but it's Jesse's fault that there was tension between Walt and Gus. Walt kept standing up for Jesse, and because Jesse was going to kill Gus's 2 henchmen who killed that boy, Walt ran them over which officially caused issues between Gus and Walt. Had Jesse not done anything, I think Gus and Walt would've been fine. The last scene Walt and Gus were in together before the scene out in the fields was with Jesse, Gus, Mike, Walt, and the 2 men to try and "keep the peace." Gus said, "If it weren't for this man and the respect I have for him, you would be dead." Then, Jesse has to do something stupid for Walt to murder the 2 guys, to have it become Gus vs. Walt.

Agreed with this, which is why I was sort of pissed at the scene right before Mike's death when he was talking about the great thing they had going with Fring, until Walt ruined it. Walt didn't ruin it at all, it was almost entirely Jesse/Gus.

The 'fly' episode might have seemed like a filler. But i actually enjoyed it a lot, sometimes episodes like these are needed.

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
The "bottle episode" that was "Fly" really fleshed out the relationship between Walt/Jesse. The fly was obviously a symbol of the destruction Walt has bestowed onto people close to him at that point, hence the reason why the fly came back at the end of the episode.

This one I found to be really eerie for some reason. Guess because this is where we see Gus walking toward his imminent death and it just looks exactly the same and shot from the same angle. That and it looks deserted.

One day, I'm going to go there and do the exact same walk he did while listening to the exact same music that was playing.
