Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
Someone has to. Ricin has been a major plot point throughout the series and it would be disappointing to see it go unused. Walt dying by it would be neat. I think an accidental poisoning of someone in the family (except Marie cause really, who gives a damn about her?) would be much more of a shocker.

I hope we find out who Gus Fring really was when he was in Chile.

Gilligan has already said that Gus's past wouldn't be explained any further. I am all right with that. He was possibly someone close to Pinochet back in Chile which gave him some power. Gilligan also hinted that Gus was possibly gay.

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
Yeah I'm pretty sure Gus was an ally of Pinochet during the Chilean coup d'etat. Max is possibly a child who's parents were murdered during the uprising and Gus took him on as he felt responsible or as eddiefan has said, his gay lover. Both are plausible due to Gus's extreme reaction to Max's death, bearing in mind the cold and callous man he is.

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
Okay so I'm not going to read alot in this thread yet, cause I just started seeing Breaking Bad 2 weeks ago. Currently on Season 3. Don't want spoilers.
I just came here to say one thing, I must, I can't help it.
The episode where Walt, and later on Jesse try to kill the fly on their lab, it's one of the funniest stuff I've seen in ages on a series. My god, my stomach hurts

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
The Fly is one of the most brilliant episodes of the show. Strangely a lot of people I know, who are fans of BB, think it is the worst episode in the series.

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
I can understand why people dislike it, it is really just a filler episode.

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
Starting from Season 1 again, watched the whole season in one day. Still brilliant, this time I'm really pay attention to the transformation of Walt's character.

I don't consider it to be filler. It showed what was going on in Walt's head at the time and showed more about the relationship between Walt and Jesse. But I can see why it is a love or hate kind of episode.
