Well I thought the episode altogether was brilliant. I liked how walt's character does a great job at showing that fake sincerity and charm when he needs to. When he is telling the story about the chemo and skylar being there for him and the whole time skylar is ridden with guilt slowing walking into the water, the scene was just pure excellence.
The final scene just reinforces the fact that jesse doesn't want anymore blood on his hands and you kind of see the same sympathy mike showed towards the woman, which was pointed out in the scene. I think Walt respects Jesse enough to agree with him, it's also a mixture of how he wants to continue his obsession of power that he doesn't want to slow down the operation. The final part where Jesse gives him that watch reiterates the bond Jesse and Walt have. Walt thinks of Jesse as a son, but because of this he knows he can manipulate him (like when he convinces that Gus poisoned the child, or when they have that talk in the previous episode about him possibly cutting ties with his girlfriend and her son).
The watch ticking at the end just a simile of how time is running out and I think Walt knows that his time may be coming soon. We see in the opening scene of the season that things aren't going good for walt and he looks to be on the run.
