Someone explain the Batman joke to me
And yes, looks like Walt poisoned the boy. Probably went for an effect, where he wouldn't have died. I think Jesse knows this as well. Season 5 looks like it will be Jesse v Walt.

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
Pretty anti-climatic ending to the season for me. Aside from Walt poisoning the kid, nothing really stood out. Still, this was an amazing season and I cannot wait for season 5. I regret not watching this show sooner.

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
I actually thought this was the most climactic season closer they have had, no cliffhanger, everything wrapped up for the time being, was a nice change of pace from the last 2 endings they have done, although that last shot was awesome.
Gus's death sequence was just brilliant, no real emphasis on the explosion with blazing fire or anything, just a silent yet intense build, shit gets fucked up with a loud bang and a silent close, apart from the facial shot it was just so damn realistic of an explosion, I think I've seen the part from Gus putting the suit on till the end about 10 times already.
The 'I've Won' line was amazing too, not overdone or posed at all, just the realization and relief of it being true, the acting in this show is FUCKING AMAZING, it would be a crime if he got the Emmy for every other series and not this one. Aaron Paul is gonna need some serious competition too.

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
Didn't expect the half face shot, but it was awesome. Only a badass like Gus would straighten his tie before dying. Skyler also seemed disturbed that Walt was the one who killed him.

Skylar is annoying, I hope she dies next season. Same with the son.

Who the hell did she think would kill Gus? She act so shocked that Walt did it. What a dumbass. Next season she will have to choose between Hank and Walt. If she dies, I would probably cheer.

Re: The Official Breaking Bad Thread (Spoiler Alert)
To be honest, I thought this finale, for the most part wasn't that good, or at least didn't live up to expectations. Besides Gus turning into Two-Face and finding out that Walt really did poison the kid, the rest of the episode dragged. After the last two episodes, I guess I expected more.
Also, it felt more like a series finale than a season finale. There aren't really any loose ends besides Mike, I suppose, but even then what would be his motivation. I can't wait to see where they go from here.
