Is they guy from Homeland really better than Bryan Cranston? I've never seen it before. Congrats to Aaron Paul too, he really deserved it.

Homeland didn't deserve to win Best Drama or Actor. BB and Mad Men seriously getting robbed there. Just the Emmys trying to shake things up and end up looking dumb. Good for Aaron Paul tho. He deserved that win.

I haven't seen Homeland but I bet it's a darn sight better than the painfully mediocre and self-important Downtown Abbey which I thought might dominate instead.

The supporting male category was incredibly tough on paper though I think Paul deserved his win.

Homeland is a good show no doubt. I'd rate it right below BB and Mad Men among the nominees. Just not a show that should be sweeping big awards after one season.

Emmys don't matter in judging the greatness of TV shows in the end anyway I think. Don't think The Wire ever won one and it is widely considered to be the best show of all time.

I don't see how it's not fair to anyone. Waiting for a movie is essentially the same as waiting for another season. Sure you'd have to pay to see the conclusion, but I doubt it'd be a problem if people who claim it's as great as it is went to go and see it. I feel like it could be an amazing film.

Oh and 2nd half of the season will probably come around the same time as the first half did, just in 2013.

I'm sure a lot of the newer fans wouldn't mind, but people who have been watching since the show came out will feel ripped off if the finale doesn't give a proper conclusion to the story. Just ending it without a movie would be the best thing to do. Like I said before, the show might be gaining fans now but the ratings don't seem high enough to justify a movie. Prolonging the end might end up backfiring on the creators as well.

Cranston was robbed. It's a shame because had he won it; he'd have as many emmys as Dennis Franz. And then he could have potentially overtaken Franz's record next year.
