I certainly don't know of a show that takes a protagonist from being a meek good man, to a totally consumed by depravity villain. If there is, it certainly can't be as masterful and believable as Walter's descent.

My favorite moment is Jesse confronting Walt at gunpoint about poisoning Brock. I also loved the "Tell-Tale Heart" moment as Walt cackles like a madman when he finds his getaway money is gone. The flashback scene with Gus meeting Don whatshisname was also great stuff. There are a lot more from season 4, but those three are what come to mind.

Yeah it's been a brave and well calculated transition for sure.

Yeah all those moments were great. Take it season 4 was your fave then? My fave moment from the season just gone was when Walt let his ego get the better of him after drinking too much wine at Hank's house. Made sense character wise too seeing as he had a background of other people taking credit for his work.

Yeah, drunk Walt being the product of his own demise was great. If Hank leaves the trail cold, shit doesn't go down like it does later in the season. Plus, Hank ain't done with his investigation. The destruction of the laudrymat will only further fuel him to delve further.

Also Walt's last line "I won" was chilling. It wasn't "It's over" or "We're safe", it was about him and him alone. It's amazing that he began this to help out his wife and son, but over time it became all about him and no one else.

Season 4 is indeed my favorite, but it could be because it's freshest on my mind. I watched seasons 1-3 over a short span of time so it all kind of runs together. Breaking Bad will be revisited at some point of course.

Yeah and the more he spoke about doing it for his family later on the less convincing it sounded. The great thing though is that you can't really mark one moment where the change kicked in, it's just a series of beautifully subtle little touches culminating in the Walt we see now.

The inevitable Hank/Walt confrontation is going to be insanely tense.

Aren't there still hidden cameras in the laundromat? Won't they see Walt and Jesse walk out? The lab is gone but the place itself was still standing.

I meant destruction of the lab. Bottom line Hank's assumptions and theories will have vindication. It remains to be seen whether the authorities recover footage of Jesse and Hank on camera.

Character-Can't really pick between Walt and Jesse. Walt getting more evil is the focus of the show and Cranston has done a perfect job with the character so far. But Jesse stood out more in season 4 and Aaron Paul is nailing every scene he is in now. Gus gets a mention too since we got to know a lot more about history and he turned out to be a brilliant character.

Season-I'm going to say season 4 right now because it was recent but I have enjoyed every season of this show.

Episode-Also very hard to pick but I will go with One Minute because of that parking lot scene. I was stoned out of my mind when I first saw it and I was freaking out just as much as Hank during that scene.

Moment-Again since season 4 is fresh on my mind, I'll pick the final scene of Crawl Space. Seeing Walt in full panic mode was great. Also like Jesse's AA meeting in Problem Dog. Could see just how much pain he was in because of that Gale hit.

Humor-All the scenes with Saul have me cracking up. My favorite line from him was "That's what the kids these days call an epic fail" when Walt asked him to hire a hitman to take out Gus.

This season was great It lost its sense of believability in the characters long ago but as far as pure entertainment the last 4 or 5 episodes were some of the best in the series and had me anticipating every week. I would be very surprised if this doesn't end in death or some kind of personal hell for Walter, though I don't even feel he's deserving of one.

Really? I would say the shows main strength is the lengths it takes to make both its characters and arena seem as realistic as possible within the realms of the story it is trying to tell. Obviously every tv show has farfetched moments but I would argue that Breaking Bad is one of the least guilty programmes as far as that matter is concerned.

I don't mean what actually happens, I'm talking more about how Jesse and Walt act/interact that lost believability to me for a lot of Season 2 and 3. I mean how reckless Jesse would be with his life on the line at times and Walt being as much of a loose cannon/gangster at times just didn't seem true to their characters. This last season still had some of it but the basic plot was so intense and engrossing it didn't matter to me.
