Far from overrated. It's a great show. I love this.

re: Breaking Bad Thread (NO SPOILERS OUTSIDE OF THIS THREAD. INCLUDING SIGS & CHATBOX.)

Is it me or does the possibility of them doing a Breaking Bad movie some time after the show ends take some steam out of the long-awaited series finale?

In some sorta-recent articles around the time of the season 5 premiere and even before that both Vince Gilligan and Bryan Cranston both said that they would like to possibly do a movie about Walt and where he is at later on in life. Nothing AT ALL has been confirmed about doing a movie but if they were to come out and say "yeah we're going to do a movie" within the next few months, I think that would take alot of steam out of the finale knowing that if there is a movie then obviously the main characters like Walt and Jesse wouldn't be killed off in the second-part of season 5 and also cancelling out other possibilities for the way the show would end.

The same thing happened with The Sopranos before the final season, the creator/producers and actors mentioned the possibility of there being a movie later on which never happened and that's something that I'm happy with because unlike many I thought that the way David Chase ended it was great.

Nah, I don't think it'd take steam out of anything. I think it only adds more intrigue if they're willing to end it with the film without a sequel. I'd love a film tbh.

I hope they are fucking with us and Walt dies in the finale (or something equally final) and the show is wrapped up.

I'm pretty sure at this point Jesse will die in the final episodes though.

I feel as if Jesse is gonna die before the final episode. Possibly the penultimate one.

re: Breaking Bad Thread (NO SPOILERS OUTSIDE OF THIS THREAD. INCLUDING SIGS & CHATBOX.)

Well I just finished watching the entire 5 seasons in 2 weeks. God this series is addicting. Waiting a full year now will be torture.

Anyway, I wonder what kind of reaction Hank's going to have towards Walt. He's probably going to blame him for all the stuff he got put trough, including his severe injury when he was shot.

And as some of you stated here before, I don't see the series ending without Jesse dying. Walt might survive in some way or another, but Jesse...eh.

The thing is, WHO would kill both Jesse and Walt? Hank? Can't see it happening.

I feel like Jesse is either gonna be turned on by a panicking Walt or Jesse dies.

Keep in mind that we saw hi 52nd birthday at the beginning of this season. We also see his 51st, so I'd guess the season may be spread out or we jump in time.

So is it 100% confirmed that Season 5 will be the last? I can't see how they can finish this whole series in 7-8 episodes especialy with that cliffhanger ending. Plus it's the best drama ever and I never want it to end.

Yeah it's 100% confirmed. But there are rumors going around about the possibility of a movie somewhere down the line.
