re: Breaking Bad Thread (NO SPOILERS OUTSIDE OF THIS THREAD. INCLUDING SIGS & CHATBOX.)
Is it me or does the possibility of them doing a Breaking Bad movie some time after the show ends take some steam out of the long-awaited series finale?
In some sorta-recent articles around the time of the season 5 premiere and even before that both Vince Gilligan and Bryan Cranston both said that they would like to possibly do a movie about Walt and where he is at later on in life. Nothing AT ALL has been confirmed about doing a movie but if they were to come out and say "yeah we're going to do a movie" within the next few months, I think that would take alot of steam out of the finale knowing that if there is a movie then obviously the main characters like Walt and Jesse wouldn't be killed off in the second-part of season 5 and also cancelling out other possibilities for the way the show would end.
The same thing happened with The Sopranos before the final season, the creator/producers and actors mentioned the possibility of there being a movie later on which never happened and that's something that I'm happy with because unlike many I thought that the way David Chase ended it was great.
