So Gatiss is the banker. Interesting. I assume he'll have a scene in King's Landing, since it's too soon for him to get to The Wall. (And iirc a banker goes to visit cersei or someone in storm)
Yeah, and that's basically the only scene he's going to have. The funny thing is, in the books, the representative of the Iron Bank that talked to Cersei wasn't Tycho, it was Noho Dimittis. Obviously, they are just going to merge both characters, and I'm fine with it. They're just minor characters that can easily be merged without problem. I bet lots of people assumed immediately that Tycho was Noho when he appeared in ADwD, so yeah...
Regarding the cast for this season, am I the only one who's getting irritated by the amount of recasts they're doing? Now, I don't know if this one was already officially confirmed, but basically everyone believes Daario has been already recast! I mean, he just appeared in the show, and he's now going to be portrayed by another actor, when the original actor is still very fresh on everyone's mind. If Daario appeared only in the first season and then disappeared, only to reemerge now, in Season 4, then ok, it's understandable, but he just debuted and he's already been recast. Non-book readers/casual fans are going to be confused as hell, probably even theorizing that Daario is a faceless man. Then we have the "Mountain" being recast AGAIN. 3 different actors have played the Mountain. Thank God he's going to die! And then we have them recasting Tommen with an actor who already appeared in the show, portraying a Lannister. Yeah, it was very brief and no one is going to even make the association, but come on, recast a character who appeared in all seasons with another actor who already appeared on the show?! Shaking my head... The problem here is that I don't even see a reason to recast the character. Even though Tommen is going to be a more important character from now on because he becomes the King, his number of appearances/relevance are not going to increase that much. At least they didn't in the books. He just appeared from time to time, nothing really major, he wasn't that active is what I mean. Not to mention that he's now going to look much older, when the whole point was him becoming King when he's still a little kid, who's favorite occupation while being King is sealing documents with the royal stamp, who names one of his warships Moon Boy, and threatens to outlaw beets. I just can't see this working anymore with the new actor, and that's my problem with it.
