Muta: Here's a link to a summary of it.

http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Skagos

Below on that page is the chapters in Feast and Dance where all of that info is told.

She isn't the actual heir but for all intents and purposes she is.

You're right it's all about who has the biggest army. I think the Starks are on their way to assembling the biggest army, it's just a question if they can all get back together again to realize what they have.
well most people believe she is, currently. i don't think that's the same thing given what we know is in place

i can't work out where littlefinger's army is coming from though? the vale, sure that's fine. is he expecting the norther lords to rally to sansa? I mean winter has came i don't see how he can expect to install sansa at winterfell any time soon. *shrug*

well he said he was. maybe he was lying to her. he has no army atm + even if he did would it be anywhere near big enough?. god though all his plots and intrigue make me hate the tv show character even more who has 0% of the subtlety

acuall given ADWD I could see the north declaring for her given "arya" has been lost, at least some aligned with the boltons but eh. there's also aegon invading and how lf will cope with that - even he can't have planned for that.

By the way since we're speaking of her, a recent vulture interview about the guy who runs Westeros.org revealed...http://www.vulture.com/2013/04/georg...nd-drinks.html

Quote:
Martin later sent him the Manuscript in the Box, asking him to fact-check it for him — because a slip like a change in eye color will make fans salivate with imposter theories, when sometimes it's just a mistake. Garcia now performs this function for all the books, but it's completely unofficial: "It's not like I'm paid or anything." And yes, that means he's read parts of book six, The Winds of Winter — including a Sansa chapter that is sure to be controversial.
Most people are assuming some sort of physical or sexual violence from Littlefinger towards Sansa. I think it'd be to early if she killed him. So I'm not sure what that could mean if it doesn't mean that.

Is it mentioned or implied that is is H'Ghar or is it an obvious thing to realize? I haven't read the prologues/epilogues for AFFC, one of them was about somebody named Pate right? I had no idea who he was so I didn't read it, but now I've learned my lesson since some major shit goes down in the prologue/epilogues (Stoneheart, Varys/Kevan Lannister). I'm not at home so I don't have my Kindle handy but I will definitely look them over later.

Ageei to the rescue yet again. How many times have you read the books, just once or more? I'm currently re-reading ASOS since it was my favorite and because of all the stuff that happens but once I finish it, I plan on re-reading all the others.

Once from cover to cover for all of them, but I've gone back and read select chapters, many times. When you read a specific chapter 3 or 4 times and start finding something new you didn't notice before, each time, you really begin to realize how George Martin for all his accolades is actually underrated.

The Alchemist kills Pate. The Alchemist is described as having the same facial features as the face that Jaqen's morphed into when he bid Arya farewell. In the epilogue, Pate is there. But he's dead, so we can assume Jaqen took his face.

Why is Jaqen there? We don't have many clues.

^ It is believed he is there to learn how to kill a dragon. I think it's said somewhere that Faceless Men originated in Valyria and hated dragons? Could also lend creedance to the idea that Faceless Men serve The Great Other and dragons represent R'hllor.

MrMister thinsk the Martell's are gonna be the one's to throw a huge monkey wrench into things but I think EURON GREYJOY is the man for that.

Re: SPOILER *all five books* THREAD FOR Game of Thrones (TV series discussion)

this question might be stupid, but since a lot of Robb's army just abandoned him why is it still believed that everyone will just rally behind a Stark just because it's a Stark when they left the other one?

They called him the Lion of Lannister to his face...

...and whispered "Kingslayer" behind his back
