I'm watching the commentaries on season 2. forgot how much of a beast Stannis is in Blackwater. Dude sees this huge ass explosion that wipes out a big portion of his army and acts like it ain't shit.

Love the new trailer, so pumped for this season but have to hurry up and finish my rewatch of season 2.

Also rereading Feast for Crows and enjoying it just as much as I did the first time, i like the fact the series slows down a bit to let us catch our breath from Storm of Swords, reset and start getting all the pieces in place for the epic finale

That was epic

"The imp has played his trick. He can't play it again."

"But hundreds will die"

"Thousands."

That explains my lack of ability to get a hard on, I thought I was just getting old but turns out i've been warged by someone who is too young to get aroused.

Re: SPOILER *all five books* THREAD FOR Game of Thrones (TV series discussion)

So, last night during an Emmy Panel sitdown discussion with the cast, there was actually a few revealing things.

GRRM said "There will be several more people taking the throne before the end." Not really sure why he'd come out and say it, but he did.

Also it was revealed D&D know the end. GRRM told them. So therefore, I think you have to look at their version of the HOTU a bit differently now.

They also confirmed the long held rumor they got to do the show because GRRM asked them who Jon's mother is, and they answered correctly. Which too, is a bit of a spoilerish thing, since Benioff has said in the past when asked about it in interviews, that he subscribed long ago to the R+L=J thing. So...if he believed that, one would assume he guessed it when GRRM asked.

Really odd panel, to be honest. Because they revealed quite a bit for really no reason. They didn't have to.
