I thought they got separated, but maybe they met back up? I don't remember. Tyrion's chapters fatigued me pretty bad.

It's been over a year since I read the last book but I seem to remember they are still together somehow.

I've read that Tyrion is a Targ theory as well. Stems from the theory that Joanna Lannister was raped by Aerys and Tyrion is the result, and once Tywin found out he forced moon tea onto Joanna to get rid of the child. It failed, but as a result Tyrion was born a dwarf. Which is why Tywin hated him, and is why Tywin told him he would never get Casterly Rock.

At first it was thought of as a nice but never going to happen theory at the Westeros board, but has gained in belief in recent years when GRRM was asked about it and answered "I will neither confirm nor deny."

So we'll see. I don't think I'd like that too much.

I think Tyrion is probably just a Lannister. 2 secret targs would be a bit overkill. 3? if we count aegon. Jon does that job better and Tyrion really is such a Lannister, anyway.

Don't forget speculation that Jaime and Cersei are secret Targs too. Why do people want so many secret Targs? Probably stems from the Jon Snow theory I reckon.

Jon Snow's grandfather killed his other grandfather. Jon is also Dany's nephew.
