Re: SPOILER *all five books* THREAD FOR Game of Thrones (TV series discussion)

Just finished A Feast for Crows. It was good, though it was the most boring to me in the series thus far. Not bad, but the ongoings in Storm of Swords was quite enthralling to me.

I liked that bit above about Snow being part Targaryen. That'd be a neat twist. I've also envisioned Arya being one of the three heads.

A Feast For Crows holds up well on a reread.

Feast was my least favorite by far. I still really really enjoyed it though. It suffered from a lack of Arya though.

Good to know. I may need to go back after A Dance with Dragons. All the local bookstores have been sold out, and I don't want to get it from the library, since I own the rest lol.

Edit* Crows did lack the Arya stuff I wanted, plus I was curious about Tyrion. I found the Dornish stuff kind of slow moving.

I think she will get a hell of a lot more interesting now she can fly on her dragons, think the first part of her story in Winds of Winter will just be her tearing the place apart before she starts making her way to Westeros

There's not a ton of Arya in A Dance With Dragons either. Hell except for Jon none of the Starks get a lot of time.

I doubt it... it seems all she can think about is fucking Daario.

he does indeed. felt there was plenty of arya in feast, not sure we needed to see more of her + I quite like the greyjoys (a lot) and the martells were decent too, so i liked the book.

Hard for me to take Daario seriously. what with the Purple Beard, gold tooth and sword hilts shaped like naked women.
