Also the fact George RR Martin said he'd make Osha more interesting in the book means she, and thus Rickon are coming back.

I don't think Osha and Rickon coming back in the novel will matter much actually; I mean it won't be a huge uncuttable event like say Joffrey's death or the Red Wedding or Tyrion killing Tywin. I'm pretty sure they're going to cut out Aegon as well. I'll say this, if Ramsay gets cut, Aegon will be cut as well.

I think Aegon might have a bigger impact on the game than Ramsay though? Overall I mean. He might not be as iconic but yeah.

Plus I thought they mentioned something in Season 1 which sort of set it up, don't remember what and was probably just confirmation bias.

+ Jon Connington is too badass to drop. Still Rhaegar's barely been mentionedso yeah, it loses some of it's importance. I don't actually think Ramsay will be dropped - he's literally too awesome. The Pink Letter? THe flaying of theon? HBO are gonna love that shit - he'll be in just maybe not in the same way.

I just think they'll simplify the plots and streamline the story. Aegon and Ramsay are great plot twists and they both created compelling stories, but how important are they really to the overall plot of human killing themselves for lol reasons while the real danger to them lurks unknown, unseen?

I guess a lot depends on how big of an impact Aegon has in the future books. I could see him being a red herring (though I kind of hate red herring's that are that big - he has to fuck shit up to have been worth introducing). If he ends up taking over half of westeros, then well I could see it being neccessary.

If Aegon/Jon Connington get cut that'd be some serious bullshit. Ramsay too. If they came anywhere close to recapturing Ramsay's character in the TV series that'd be one of the most hated characters of all time. God damn.

Well for one, unlike Dany he's keeping his eye on the prize. Plus there's the whole backstory of Tywin Lannister killing his family and trying to have him murdered as an infant, but he's making a surprise comeback. Something about that I just root for. Plus he's got Jon Connington and Varys on his side, which gives him big points. Tyrion also has somewhat of an investment with him from their chapters together.

And I don't like Stannis or the Tyrells, so who else am I gonna root for?

Oh yeah and I'm pretty sure Dorne is going to join up with him, and I absolutely love the Martells.

All depends on how GRRM uses the characters in the next book. Still 2 seasons before they start book 5 on the show so plenty of time for them to figure out a proper balance between characters and for GRRM to decide who is important and who isn't.

Yeah I realize that, but Tyrion picked up on him being Aegon without anyone telling him, and he's got Varys supporting him. I think he's probably legit, but anything is possible in this series.
