Exactly my point. So far none of it has affected me because I've read the first three books but people don't seem to realize that by saying this guy becomes prominent in this book that although they haven't spoiled anything the character is going to do they've spoiled the fact that the character is alive up to that point. In a show like Game of Thrones where anyone can die at any time that's a pretty big deal to me.
